Well after 4 years of tire kicking Gen V Vipers I finally broke down and bought one.

2013 SRT Viper - Gunmetal gray with 1900 miles. Track package, 2 piece rotors, light weight wheels, leather, and the Harmon Kardon radio.

I have always like the Vipers. But when the Gen V came out I said that's the one I will buy someday.

Enjoyed every minute of the Hellcat and don't regret it. Wish I could afford to have both but I just want to try my hand at the Viper. Not leaving the board. I will still be lurking.

I will get more pics for everyone when it gets here. The car is in IL and I am in FL.

Congrats on the purchase, she is one beautiful car! I'd own one myself if I could afford it.

Congrats! That is one hell of a car. Hope to own one some day after my kid gets a little older. Let us know how she drives once it arrives please!

I went the other way and traded my Gen V Viper for a Hellcat. I hope you like yours better than I did mine.

    Enjoy!!

To each his own and HAPPY your HAPPY. I could have the Viper and it's a cool car but my HELLCATS just fit the seat of my pants better LOL. And believe it or not I just sold my 2015 Corvette Z51 for my Ram 3500 Mega Cab DUALLY. And for me personally an hour behind the Viper (which I had one for a day) was enough for me. It's truly a radical race car meant to be taking to the race track. So I hope u have the opportunity to enjoy her at the race track cause that's what she is for. And no criticism here of your purchase cause I understand the need for speed:)

After (sold my Vette for the Ram cause my HELLCAT'S are just more FUN:rolleyes:

And now I can haul my toys as well:)
And hell I need a bigger trailer as well LOL

I am 34 single no wife no kids. Lol. I understand the Viper is loud, hot, rough, and wants to kill you any chance it gets.

So in turn everything I LOVE about a car. I am actually looking forward to driving a driver's car.

I have some extended seat time in Gen V Vipers but they where either customers or my work let me take them home for the weekend. I always had to behave. No more of that lol.

And yes i fully intend to get it on the track. Sebring is about 2 hours from me

Congrats on the Gen 5, it's a fun car... I love the Hellcat and the Gen 5 in different ways.

For a daily driver, I prefer the Hellcat.

Sebring is a great track once you get over the bumps and uneven pavement. I haven't been there in a year or so but used to track my cars there a few times per year.
