My Precious was in the garage and when I came home I saw this big tree limb hanging over the edge of the pole barn. Scared the s**t out of me...

I hadn't driven my truck since I got my Hellcat, about 3 weeks ago, so today I needed to use the truck. I moved MY Precious to the back or the garage, where I'll keep it through the winter, intending to park the truck in front for a few days.

NO DAMAGE to the Hellcat but It did growl when I started it...

A few photos follow... The damaged roof is over the back seat and bed of the truck.

Glad to hear that everything is good. I'd be pod too if I see anything like that.

It's a pretty large branch about 9 to 10 inches in diameter. Called my Ins. and they will pay for the repair, minus the deductible.

Close call. You must be livin' a clean life

Forecast here is for high winds tomorrow. Between wind, deer, skunks, bears, possum, cats, and racoons (hell, and this is NJ!) it's downright scary out there for pimp!

I'm happy you're babies are safe! I'd think twice about insurance, it's supposed to be for catastrophic stuff not a tree branch and minor wood frame/ rafter repair. You may be cancelled or your rates go up versus paying for it yourself. Not trying to criticize just wanted to give you a different perspective. I'm an insurance restoration approved contractor and carriers can be ruthless.
