I was grabbing something from the trunk this afternoon and saw this clear coat type blemish. I'm sure there is a technical term but it's late and doesn't come to mind. It appears the spoiler was applied before the clear coat was able to fully cure. However, this is my guess.. But maybe you guys can chime in and let me know what you think.

It's actually closer to the plastic trim piece that is above the tail light assembly.

The picture I attached is from the driver side. The passenger side has it as well but isn't as noticeable. This totally caught me by surprise. I'm curious if some of you have the same thing and haven't noticed. In which case, maybe it's better if you don't look lol.

To me it looks that section sagged, you
Wouldn't necessarily see it with the lid closed,
    Because of the angle.
Looks like someone took the whole car outa the oven too soon!
Whatever it is your choice to either leave the character mark,
Or have it repaired under warranty!
Hope you aren't too pissed, stuff happens to get overlooked!

If I can't see it with the trunk closed I'd leave it alone. But that's just me. I have much trepidation about taking my car in to the dealer for body work. You lose it for a few days and there's no guarantee how it's going to turn out.

Looks like a sag and a drip on the corner, too much paint or clear coat. I'd leave it.

They might do some burnout, run 0-60.. Put 50-60 miles and act like it never happened

I would consult your dealer ASAP and advise them to take pictures and file a digital imaging claim for the paint defect. They will need the car and take pictures of the vin plate, odometer, 3/4 view of vehicle and pics of defect.

I actually have the same thing on my Charger but it's at the back corner of the right rear wheel well. Pointed it out to the dealer to make sure if it was ever an issue. I dabbed a little clear with a Q-tip to make sure it's sealed.

i cant tell exactly where it is...could you give a larger pic...

if its hidden inside the trunk and no one can see it----id leave it...i wouldnt do anything

i had a pencil eraser size of paint just fall off inside the trunk rim on my 2011...it looked like some solvent dripped and the paint didnt stick there...i just used dr.color chip and forgot it

under my hood of my HC there is paint that is bubbling up all over...i know its not rust, but if it were an older car you'd think so the way it looks....its just how dodge paints things(like crap)....i had this on my 2011 also
