This has been my holy grail for the last two weeks:
BUT THEN: I had this discussion with Duane at SRT Live Chat

    Status: Connected
Duane: Hi, my name is Duane with SRT Customer Care, How may I help you today?
Ross Dye: Hey Duane, want to check on progress of my VIN
    Ross Dye: FH824892
Duane: I appreciate your patience. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of 4/13/15!!
Ross Dye: That's fantastic! Do you have any information about shipping or delivery dates?
Duane: Not at this time, once the vehicle has actually been built then we will be able to track the delivery for you
Ross Dye: I have a memo here that says "unload from railcar 4/23/2015 11:00pm CDT Phoenix, AZ.
Duane: No. I see that also, this was perhaps an earlier ETA .
Duane: Obviously this will not occur.
Ross Dye: ok, what's the typical time required after build? or, how many weeks behind are we?
Duane: A typical time frame would be 8 weeks after she is released from the plant
    Ross Dye: april fools?
Ross Dye: my earlier ETA had a 1 month from scheduled to delivered.. has that changed?
Duane: No fooling, we have to revise the ETA often and allow for things beyond our control, i.e. rail assignment.
Ross Dye: Well that's a real bummer. So our new delivery date looks like mid June?
Duane: At this point , yes.
Ross Dye: But Duane, I want it yesterday.
Duane: I wish could have gotten her to you yesterday, alas to no avail I have no affect on the outcome
Ross Dye: Yes, however I'd like to share as much of my recently darkened mood with you.
    Ross Dye: as possible

    What do you guys think?

This is perfectly normal. Mine, Tammie magnummrk and hellcat1 took over 2 months after release from plant KZ status to be delivered and released from Prison yard

8 weeks is not new, many here have waited that or longer. Mine was 7 weeks to dealer.
It could be 6 weeks or it could be 12

Hang in there! The great news is a build is on the way. I know it is hard to wait, but it is so worth it!!! Congrats on the build!:)

So many factors, but your dealer location is the most important variable. If it never has to go on a railcar it can be at your dealer quickly. Once my Challenger actually left Brampton it was at my dealer in less than 2 days. Charger was at dealer in less than a week after leaving.

Rail travel adds more stops and variables...

No way to really predict, even with RS' projected dates.

    Yep. ..

As I've exhausted in other posts...it's been roughly 2 months since I got my Vin. It's also been over a month since my hell kitty was built. ..yet here I am driving my other car.

The process sucks...there's no two ways about it

seriously! i am slowly turning into a spoiled rich kid (some may say i already was) about this process. getting from a 16 year-old with a dream of owning a fast american muscle car, to a place where i am able to afford one took another 16 years. now i'm stuck with money burning a hole in my checking account and considering jumping ship and buying a panamera turbo or GTS. someone talk me out of that so that come june i'm not sitting in my 100k porsche (that looks like a fat couch potato version of the 911) next to a hellcat at a traffic light.

Hopefully FCA is under promising and will over deliver. My dealer just sold a HC. It was built on 3/6 and showed up at the local rail yard on 4/2...delivered to cust/dealer4/7....and we're in SoCal. It could happen to you

My daughter and I was just sitting next to one at the light and she says. What is that? It looks like a pregnant bug. I started laughing and said don't let that man hear you say that. That pregnant bug cost him about $100k. She then asks if we can take him...the rest is history. They do have interesting headlights from my rear view mirror. Lol. I think my Hellbaby scared him. The Porshe reaction time was off. :D

Be nice to Duane, he's cool. :)

Mine went KZ on 3/4 and was in my driveway on 3/26.

Given the way things have gone down I'd bet about anything this is the case. That's not to say they're fibbing about when the car will arrive, I'm just betting that they were told to give VERY conservative estimates, that way they're either correct of the customer is pleasantly surprised.

It's better to under promise and over deliver.
