i have come to the conclusion the Hellcat is a Unicorn! I have heard about it for months upon months and have seen plenty of pics in books and magazines, but yet I have not seen any on the roads...

Since we can drive them all year round in Las Vegas, you'll see a few of them out here. There were two of us at Cars & Coffee last Saturday morning, mine and a Pitch Black 6-speed. I think most of the Cats in the colder climates are hibernating until Spring, which makes good sense.

LOL, I guess all of the cars in hands of owners are figments of our imagination. :)

With ~2500 built (Challenger + Charger, give or take a hundred or two) and not even all of those delivered yet, scattered across North America, plus the ones sitting in storage.. your chances of seeing one on the road are indeed rather low.

As a State Trooper I spend alot of time on the roads and am completely stunned I have not seen one. I know there is one in town, because I have seen pics of it on the DYNO. I heard there were two at oiur cars and coffee, but I wasn't there so what good is it? Also heard there were quite a few at John Travoltas airfield when he opened it up to us normal people, yet again I did not go.

Where are you located? I'm sure we could give you an idea how many are currently in your area +/- 100 miles.

See, if you do what my local police did and offer a free pass to the Hellcat driver to roast the tires, they will hunt you down. I have been looking and looking for the police officers that gave me a free pass to see if I can get another one!!! LOL :D

Jacksonville, FL. My neighbor just ordered the B5 Blue Challenger. Wouldn't it be something else if both ours came in at the same time? Our Dealer has 1 allocation for the Challenger and 1 for the Charger, kinda cool that both allocations are going into the same neighborhood?

As much as I love the burn outs and the racing I get to see the unglamorous results of such stupidity. Right place, right time for everything...keep it to the track for everyone's safety! Sorry to bring everyone down.

LOL! We kept it very small and in an open area with no cars or people. They were really nice and just wanted to see the Hellcat and listen to it. I have the only one in my town so, it is a unicorn to some extent. I imagine you do see the worst of it. I agree about the track. I actually talked to them about our local track because I plan on heading down there as soon as our weather clears and they wanted to be there to watch. Of course, I'm not telling anyone until I get some practice time in.;)

Tammie is yours a 6 Speed or Auto? HOW EXCITING! I COUNT THE DAYS! Oh wait, no i don't, because I don't know how many!! I have never existed in such a void of information...I live in a very small town and by the time the dust settles there will be 4 Hellcats running around the streets, per capita we will probably have the most?

6 speed. I drive 3 miles to work and 3 miles home and 1/4 to the gym! Its my daily driver and I have enjoyed every second of my driving experience!!! I was born to drive and own a Hellcat!!! It is very much worth the wait. I traded my 12 Charger for it and loved my Charger too. I can't imagine how amazing it would have been with a Hellcat in it!!! It is a lot of fun being in a small town with the only one around. The police station is right behind the gym so I have ran across quite a few officers who appreciate my sexy beast Hellcat!! :D
