UPDATE:2 days out of the shop and the problem is back

    well i posted this issue about a week ago about this problem car says service electronic throttle can't floor it kinda shuts down.... dealer said they just had to reset the throttle body control or something picked it up Friday...... now on sunday the problem came back ....i will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow NOT HAPPY

    Well that sucks! It would be interesting to know what the re-set consists of. I hope you get it fixed this next round.

    apparently a simple reset won't cut it. Make them actually look at the car this time.

    So classic of many service shops. They should have just replaced it to start with vs a chance the customer has to come back again.

    Curious to know what this is. Throttle by wire tends to be pretty solid...

    well they got back to me and said they need to replace the throttle body .....one problem there on back order and have no idea what so ever when they can get one but on the bright side they gave me a loaner for the time being they said they expect a couple of weeks. does any one know how long the car has to stay in service before it can be consider lemon law in TX?

    Not sure about TX, but in NC the car has to have the same issue 3 times without being fixed. Has nothing to do with how long the car is down based on a parts shortage.

    ya, what next phase said, it isn't about length of time, its about the same issue not being fixed after 3 times (but that said, I don't think its a simple process). They should have just done it this way the first time rather than a simple reset. Who are you taking it to alex_jrs21
