It's fairly common on many hi performance cars.

Passenger side is your engine oil cooler, driver side is transmission cooler.

I thought that drivers side was engine because I remembered that from the post you did on your first oil change....

So what's the verdict Challenger or Charger Hellcat LOL. Hope you guys are enjoying them both but if you had to pick one which one would it be?

Nope, passenger side. My oil change post says right side, left side if you are facing/standing in front of the car, which is passenger side. :)

If I could only pick one it would still be the Challenger. Charger is more 'practical' as far as having 4 doors and actually makes it a bit more insane because it has 4 doors and is close in looks to the Scat Pack and SRT 392, so it's a bit of a sleeper.. Hellcat Challenger has different fascia, Charger's only difference in the fascia is a lack of fog lights.

Luckily I don't have to choose. :) Challenger is my primary car, Charger is her primary car but we can switch it up whenever.

tsc, working on cars for my whole life the industry calls the passenger side the right side which is what you stated. Let's not confuse people with standing in front of the car it's the other side. This leads to things not getting fixed quickly when I have to call the customer and find out they were in front of the car because the Service Adviser is a Moron and doesn't get that out of the customer.

I wish I could get my HC to experience the Charger

Must have had it backwards in my head. I was thinking left side. Now I know. I'm sure I would have been scratching my head looking on the left since for some reason that is what I thought was right. Can't be too hard to find once the pan is down. I was going to do a 1K change but I may even do the first one at 500. Hopefully I'll be driving it daily in a few weeks so the miles will come quickly.

Interesting on the Chally vs. Charger. I've also preferred 4 doors but for some reason this time I wanted the Challenger. No regrets yet but then I really don't have much seat time other than my ride home. It's definitely nice to have both.
