    I very much want to "like" the photo that you posted but I somehow feel like it may be taken the
    wrong way for such a solemn memorial.

    Thank you very much for posting it. I just saw on the news this morning that six more of our brave American service members (5 men and 1 lady) made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan
    and will never get to see their families again for Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, graduations, weddings or life in general.

    It's a beautiful and touching photo, BKuz, an honor to our military and our origins. (I hope, though, that the sunset is only beautiful and not more meaningful). I get to go to DC a couple of times a year; and though I vociferously disagree with so much there, and they get so much "wrong," the history of our struggles for freedom and the potential for more greatness represented by the structures, testaments and culture there often are often inspiring.

    That is a great shot. Thanks for posting. Next time i visit the Gap Cemetary i will take some of the flags that line the road as you enter the site.
