I'm looking for inputs and/or details on adding a shock sensor to my Charger HC factory alarm system. Seems the Stinger 504D is basic senor available but need some insight into the wiring system.

Looking for easy place to pick up 12v power and tie sensor output back into existing door sensors. Seems like the remote keyless entry system plug in should house all the necessary wires. Just need insight into the connector pin out.

Anyone out there have any info on wiring diagrams for Charger HCs?

    Thanks in advance!

    still looking for some inputs...

Found this for LX platform but unable to confirm this is correct for 2105 Charger

Still looking for info on this topic

Can anyone validate the wiring table above for the Charger HC?

Since I haven't heard anything, I've been digging and this is what I've found so far...

    Diagram above is not correct.

If I want to use one of the normal inputs to trigger the alarm then any of the doors should work.

Driver's side door ajar switch is routed back to the BCM (body control module) behind the glovebox. Starts with internal switch inside door, goes thru connector at door frame and is then routed over to BCM.
    Plug C6/F (55 cavity)
Pin 9 is driver's door ajar sense
    Color: Violet -VT wire

Now need to figure out voltage used in circuit and how it is sensed i.e. drives voltage high on open, drives voltage low on open

Other option might be to use hood ajar sensor which also routes back to BCM.
Plug C1/A, Pin 11, VT/LB wire, hood ajar sensor
Plug C4/D, Pin 23, VT/BR wire, Sensor ground
This would involve energizing a relay from shock sensor to either open circuit if N/C or close circuit if N/O

NOTE: Tried last eve to see if hood open sensor tripped alarm. It did not!

Follows the old saying: No better help, then self help!

So I'm still looking for some additional knowledge on signals and voltages to come up with options.

Continuing to dig on wiring diagram I've found a few entry points that need additional details. Found access points that should be easier to get to without going into the guts of the dash.

In the center console area, under the storage cubby (appears to be in shifter console) there is an In-Line Instrument Panel Special Sevice Jumper (#1). this jumper has two unique signals in it that could be of great use.

Pin 7 - Security Alarm On Signal
    wire is VT/LG
    part of circuit W515

Pin 15 - Driver Door Ajar Sense
    wire is BR/GY
    part of circuit W523

This looks to be a great place to mount a shock sensor if pin 7 contains a steady 12v when the alarm is on. If so, the Stinger 504D (shock sensor) could pick up power from this point only when alarm is energized. Stinger 504D has a 12v output that could then be used to trip Pin 15 Driver Door Ajar Sensor line. Tripping the Pin 15 line would depend on whether it is a normally closed loop (opens on door opening) or a normally open loop (closes when the door opens).

Does anybody have any details on how the signals to IN-LINE IP/Special Service Jumper #1, PINs #7 and #15 behave?

This same location could also be used for a digital tilt sensor.

What will happen if a young child puts there hand on the car,I thought about this year's ago, but never went with it due to legal issues is someone accidentally comes in contact with the car.

What's he's talking about is the alarm goin off if there's a shock/shake to the vehicle like if someone tried jacking up your car to take your wheels. Another thing I don't like about the factory system is if u don't have keys in hand and grab the handle the interior lights come on. Not sure the purpose of that

There are three types of sensors for alarms that are not included in the Hellcat:

    1. Shock Sensor (vibration/movement)
    2. Tilt Sensor (reads car angle at shutoff and then will trigger on tilt angle change; left/right or front/back like being jacked up or towed)
    3. Proximity Sensor (picks up objects in your vehicles personal space)

The first two are passive sensors, the third is an active sensor.

Also note that at least on the Charger HC, the hood opening will not trigger the car alarm only door opening. Pretty lame.

Does anyone know if driver door open signal is triggered by switch to ground?

Still seeking help from the smart technical boys and girls out there
Lots of views but need some inputs added to this thread

    NEEDED:

    1. confirm that driver door open signal to BCM is really applying a ground to that pin (this will be used to trigger alarm from shock sensor)
    2. low current draw way to use Stinger 504D shock sensor output (12v pulse) to apply door open ground to BCM
    3. need way to only energize shock sensor when alarm is on (have located alarm on/off pins on connectors but need details on what kinds of signals they are?)
