Are there any special precautions to take when washing the car with regards to the matte spoiler?

Wash it all. One word of advice though is wash and immediately dry the sections one at a time. I have gotten bad water spots if I do the whole car in 1 shot then dry it

Didn't your car come with spoiler prophylactics? j/k sorry...long day. Nope, I have washed my car more times than I like to count. The car wash guys actually tell me they miss me when they don't see me for a week.o_O I do blow dry my car though and make sure the matte black doesn't have water spots but I live in the rainy state so, it is always getting wet and don't have any stains or issues.

ok so it seems blow drying is the way to go. I've read that wiping a matte finish can start shining it up in those places.

Mr Pink Super Suds. It's amazing and smells amazing (bubble gum). I've found meguiars shampoo's to REALLY attract bugs. It seems like Mr Pink really enhanced the gloss on my car big time.

They also make great products for matte black finished surfaces.
