Is there any issue with water rain getting into the outlets? I see the left hand side is right above the battery (looks like it is) IS there any issues with water getting into the engine compartment this way? Do you Jet Wash with high pressure water your HC? I am intending to just light jet washing then soapy wash with decent car soap/polish

Any advice on cleaning her will be welcome.

Battery is in the truck. On driver side is the air box. On passenger is windshield cleaner and that's about it. Rain not an issue

Like terryturner said. Rain is not an issue and yes you can jet wash with no worries. I've done it several times.

And also like terryturner said, the battery is in the trunk.

awesome thanks guys. Sorry if I am getting annoying, megga excited for Friday!! :)

Btw envy your freedom of guns in the states, I used to go to "Shoot Straight" in Apopka, Florida a fair few times on each vacation but in 2014 they stopped letting visitors use their guns, you had to bring your own gun to use the firing range. Obliviously as a tourist thats not an option :(

Apparently you didn't see Pres. Obama speaking yesterday... The left wing is slowly chipping away at gun rights in this country..

Sorry, back to our regularly scheduled car, catch-can etc., arguments....

I'm "in the business" have been for years. If you have a few minutes check out some video of the "knob creek
machine gun shoot" it's twice a year and you can rent anything from a black powder flint lock, a belt feed machine
gun, a dillion aero (mini gun, six barrel electrically fired) to a WW II German 88mm anti air craft gun. Visitors welcome!!!

In fact, my current avatar is one of my personal MP5, 9mm submachine guns.

I have several friends from the UK and other European countries, I hate to admit it but I didn't even pay any
attention to the word "Bonnet" but a few years ago I would always get a kick out of things like that myself.

These days, my buddies gang up on me and make fun of my vernacular.

If you hadn't pointed it out, it would have flown right over my heado_O

OP, you aren't the first to ask about rain getting in there so it's not directed at you as this has been asked a million times...but is there ANY car ever made that wasn't designed to be ok in the rain? Ok lets say any car from 1950 on...If it would be a problem they wouldn't have the vents there. A full team of engineers working on a car and they make it into production sell 8000 of them and then realize, oh crap the car can't get wet.....common sense

im putting a product called FrogSkinz on the underside of vents..You can hold a hose to it and no water will get through..Yet it breaths like nothing is on it..We use it on our race sleds..Comes in 3x5 ft rolls for I think 40$..

In the north of england we get a hell of a lot of rain, and very little warm weather. Many of my older cars used to have problems starting through damp on the ignition/distributer etc. No problem with my current car Landrover Discovery but thought worth asking the question.
