It was a handful the whole time. lol.

Tams did better than me as I just wanted to hoon too much.
I expected a bit more traction as it was on old concrete. I could never fully open the throttle anywhere. I thought about using 2nd gear for most of the course - but with 5x the power of a Miata - why?. :)
I dont think we'll be using the cat for many autocrosses but will definitely see some AZ/NM/CA road courses.

Good to see you having fun... but... it is going to get real expensive throwing that much weight around. Tires will go away fast under these heavy cars.

What was the fastest speed you attained? Would think Track would be best.

These cars need to let their paws out and really stretch their legs.

Suprisingly if you took all the cars competing I'm sure they were within a couple of miles per hour of each other.

It's only a couple of mph from being in control to being out of control!

1st run was street with traction control on. Then sport then track. I should have just used Street with traction control off. Often times I found my self in a nice slip angle and it would just shut off the power.

Tires are a thing we buy all the time. We're avid autocrossers, track day and drift enthusiasts. I have a BMW I use for most stuff and thought it would be fun for Tams to beat up her cat a bit.

As for speeds - we never got out of 1st... so probably never more than 55ish anywhere on course. When we autocross down in Douglas - we'll probably see more in the 80+ range.

Soooooo Kevin... I didn't see the red cat out there.

Unfortunately no. I need a go pro with a mount. I normally use a bar mounted camera.

LOL and you won't! I'll be at the drag strip from time to time but I gave on autocross when I sold my Miata and got into expensive tire cars (Cobra Mustang and beyond).
