I was on the highway today cruising around 75mph when I started hearing this weird sound coming from around the dash and/or steering column area. I thought it was the radio at first but muted it and clearly was the car. It's hard to describe the sound but I'd say it was kind of like liquid squirting or bubbling and it seemed to be coming from the general area of the instrument panel/steering column. It lasted about 2 minutes and then went away never to return. The weird thing is when I hit a smoother part of the highway the sound became much more faint but it makes no sense because the sound was absolutely NOT a vibration kind of sound. I have no idea what the hell it could be but figured I'd see if anyone else has experienced it or might know what it is. o_O

Never heard anything like that driving but yesterday hanging in my car with car sitting for a bit in the middle of no where I was hearing noises in my dash like sensors or flaps with car off was weird
If it happens again I'm going to video it but doubt you will hear in on my phone

OP... Could be coolant moving through the heater core making the sounds you heard. Might be nothing, but keep an eye of your coolant level. An air pocket might mean the level is down.

You mind elaborating on this if possible? My car only has 2500 miles on it and I haven't noticed any leaks, would it be low on coolant already?!

Unless your car developed an internal or external coolant leak, it should never become low on coolant.
I mentioned this as a possible source of the sound you heard because in other (non-HC) applications, I've heard similar sounds emanating from the base of the windshield in the interior when the cooling system was not quite full. The voids or bubbles in the coolant can be heard as they pass through the interior, at the heater core on the passenger side.
Just a thought...if I was way off it wouldn't be the first time.

I too heard a distinct squirting sound, when I had this chick ridin' shotgun that got real excited over the hellcat's performance. The next time she rode in it with me, I asked her to zip up her daisy dukes, and I never heard the sound again.
I too am often way off, as I'm no mechanic, but just a fellow hellcatter tryin' to help.

I guess I'll check the coolant level when I get home tonight but apparently no one else has experienced anything like this in their Hellcat?

At first I thought maybe it was electronics going haywire as the sound was also similar to wires shorting yet it was constant and there was absolutely no burning smell of any kind. I don't know what the hell it was but now I'm worried.

Do you have a cord plugged into your AUX jack with nothing attached at the other end? If I do that with the radio on AUX and the volume turned up, I get a hissing sound similar to what you are describing.
