Weird question...when im washing my car in wash bay

    I have the keys in my pocket, and as I'm spraying the car the headlights and taillights eem to come on ever 5 minutes then shut off?? Now if I arm the car while im washing it doesn't do it?

    Anyone else have this....I don't think im pressing the fob in my jeans while im spraying off car??

    Am I missing something here....LOL

    Thanks everyone......wait to see if this has happened to anyone else....its 2016 challenger hellcat :)

    It does it to me too. It happens when I spray the handles with the pressure washer

    It happens to my 13 Ram 2500, 15 SRT Grand Cherokee and my 15 Hellcat and all three have keyless go. It happens because you have your keys in your pocket and you're in close proximity to the vehicle.

    Is your passive entry enabled? Maybe you need to disable that feature and see if it still happens. The handles are very sensitive.

    This has happened with most of my keyless entry cars. Seems like enough water over/under the handle completes some type of circuit similar to placing your hand on it.

    I've never seen it do it when spraying but with my mitt going over it typically triggers it.

    Learned to keep the key out of my pocket when washing mine. Same thing happened to me :)
