I believe I read that 32PSI is the magic number. I did set all the tires to that but it always seems to creep up to 36-38PSI. High speed run this week on a closed off section of an airport so I'm curious to anyones thoughts.

    Thanks

I do a lot of track time on my other cars. Best bet is to keep at manufacturer setting and the creep up is expected.

Depends what you are doing with the car.

on the street I have mine bumped up from what the sticker on the door panel says but under the max on what the tires side way says.

If you run the Auto cross stuff they run extreme high pressures.

Drag strip some guys air down the rear tires.

Absolutely agree for general driving. Many complain about lack of hook up or being too hard of a compound...all of which are well founded for most anything beyond daily/ occasional driving. With stock I have ALWAYS found manufacturer suggested pressures the best for longevity and handling.

Mainly just routine driving. Although I am scheduled to make some high speed runs.

I found the stock tire pressures are about the best, i tried dropping them at the track my times got worse....

    37 psi - right front
    35 psi - left front
    28 psi - rears
Why? The car has always pulled to the right. I've had it to the dealer 3 times and the last time they adjusted the engine cradle...making it worse. I gave up and adjusted the air pressure and I'm watching for tire wear. BTW, it still pulls right consistently.
My rears are Cooper 305/35s, which really suck. I'm hoping a little less pressure will improve the contact patch. Honestly I haven't noticed any difference. Guess I'll put them back up about 32-35.

I just checked mine today with a guage. They were basically 32psi on the dot. The sensors are not reading correctly. I don't know if there is a reset for recalibration or not but the car's reading is incorrect.
I remember when I first adjusted the pressure it did recalculate but now it's back to the old readings and the pressure is 32 not 36-38 on all tires.

    Weird

All 4 on short or long cruises all remain @ 35. No changes.

Road racing or anything with corners, max PSI for the tire. That's what the CLEET law enforcement teaches you. Harder sidewall, less chance of the sidewall rolling and pulling the bead off the wheel. Drag racing, on drag radials I've seen 25-28psi seems to be the sweet spot (for the back tires only). Put nitrogen in your tires and the pressures won't change with temp changes. Any respectable tire shop now has nitrogen. They will vacuum out the air and replace it with nitrogen and put a green valve stem cap on them. I've ran it in all my cars/trucks for a few years now and never have to check tire pressure anymore. Doesn't drop in the cold winter weather, doesn't rise in the heat of summer.

Have you ever gotten an alignment spec sheet printed out? If so please post it or PM me with it. That will tell you what if any issue you have.
