12,500 miles time for tires. The rears were toast and picked up a screw in the left front. Went stock with Pirelli Pzero Summer tire.

Finished a nice two week road trip to San Diego and Scottsdale. Over 14K miles now and averaged over 21MPG not too bad.

The weather was not good for the most part. Travelled through rain, blowing sand and snow!

I installed the MFER-1 on the "active exhaust valves" , sounds great! Now heads are turning when I drive by people downtown Seattle. Took 30 minutes on my back under the HC in the garage. The Kit came with instruction and all the parts required for the install and I was very happy that the valves are now locked in the open position in both exhaust pipes. All for $170 dollars. I just don't know if I will need the New springs listed on the website for $35.

Ordered the same a few weeks ago... I'm glad to find out that someone is happy with them. I found Michael was very easy to deal with and willing to help out.

Would you still do the mid muffler removal?

I am thinking of It, sounds like it will make a deeper sound and that is what I am going for. So far, I have found "Dynomax 24250 Race Mini Bullet Muffler and need to find out other options.

Have you considered the Borla XR-1 series? This part number might be okay: XR-1® Sportsman 3" Center-Center 12"x4.5"x7.88" - Racing Muffler part # 40943

It could be an option. It's about twice as big as Dynomax mini bullet. Vibrant (1794) also has a bullet muffler that you could look at. Both are made from SS which should last as long as the rest of the exhaust. Or, you could simply remove the mids and live with that :)

At the end, it really depends on what sound level you are trying to achieve and that you, and your neighbors, are comfortable with that level.

I'm just giving you some examples - YMMV :)
