It's "just" an SRT 392 that I have on order, and not a Hellcat, but this is what I sold in order to fund the purchase...a '66 big block Laguna Blue Corvette Coupe that I owned for 15 years:
While some may think I'm crazy for doing it, the fact is, that I never drove the car anymore, and I'm sure I will drive, and get much more enjoyment out of the SRT. Plus, with the new car, I can actually fit the family in it for road trips! Although it's funny, because once upon a time, we used to consider these C2 Corvette Coupes to be "great" family cars, because we could easily fit the kids in the back...back in the days when kids rode untethered in the back of station wagons and pickup trucks, and we didn't give it a second thought.
Traded in my 2009 SRT 8 Challenger, 6 speed. I bought it new and was in perfect condition, had 20K miles on it. The dealer took it in 2 months early and gave me the check for $25,500, saved tax on $25,5000. still waiting for my Hell Kitty to come it!
Can't wait to start tooling around in the A8, was getting real tired of shifting and working the clutch in traffic! My 1970 Cuda is a 4 speed, need to make my like easier these days!
