I have given up on a Hellcat anytime soon. .So at this point I'm looking at a 2017 because now a Challenger is over $70,000.00 out the door and it will not be lower anytime soon. So far nobody has said just what dealer invoice is for the 2015. Just how much does a dealer pay for a Hellcat? With all options msrp is $69,000.00 or close to that so I figure true dealer cost is maybe $62,000.00 ?? Sooo my plan is to wait until I can order a 2017 close to the invoice price. Maybe I'm just dreaming but by then the huge demand might be a lot lower and production will have caught up to make buying a new Hellcat less painful. Right now the I think the 2015 will be very collectable and the values will hold firm for 3 to 4 years but just like ZO6 corvettes after a few years of production demand and prices will drift down. Has anyone seen The invoice price?

Invoice is listed on the POC when you order and get a VON. Mine has an MSRP of 65,280 and an invoice of 62,995. However there are holdbacks, allowances and other incentives that the general public never sees.

What Snappy said + since most of these are moving within a few days of arriving, the dealer is avoiding floor plan costs.

Dodge hold back is 3% of the MSRP of the car. So take the MSRP get 3% of that, the dealer gets 3% of that plus what ever you pay over invoice.

From what I'm hearing FCA is shrinking the delta between invoice and MSRP on all models. this is pushing dealerships into crunch. Want dealerships to make their money on service not on sales.
why do you think they are offering free college to sales people...no money in it anymore
