payments are going to differ dependent on so many things. don't think people telling you their payments will help you too much.

    monthly payments are dependent on:
    • total price of car
    • down payment
    • APR % negotiated/based on credit rating
    • Length of loan

They're going to be high unless you put a ton down. Figure on $750 minimum for 25k down. (Or you can lease too, a little cheaper)
Find an auto loan calculator online and play with the numbers.
Pay whatever you are comfortable handling.

Assuming as is base options no upgrades you're looking at about $67,000 including TTL then divided by 72 equal months payment is $930 plus interest PER MONTH for the whole amount of the loan being financed.

You might be looking up to $1500/month with high APR.

If you're building your credit depending on equifax, transunion or experian that they pull, better make sure your score is at least 650 to even be considered for qualification with high interest of some sort and a decent cash deposit.

680 is something average and decent - you'll get decent APR maybe 9-10%. Less than score of 650 you'll end up 13% - 20% APR. Also depends on if you have other negative history such as payment history and judgements etc. when you're that low on score chances of being approved is really low.

Also they look to see if you've ever been approved for a big car loan past $50,000-60,000 for example and they take that into consideration. Depends on the banks they query.

I know how it feels because it took me 3.5 years to rebuild my credit after waiting a solid 7-8 years for everything to fall off that I screwed up when I was younger. My dad was a big spender so that didn't help any.

So for me about 10-11 years before I started making good progress. I did all this on my own without having to rely on a debt payment agency, you can do it yourself if you sign up with the 3 major credit card bureaus.

You can play with numbers here ^^

For example... assuming you can get a good APR (of like 3.5%) with a 6.25% sales tax (for Texas), with an MSRP of say 67,000 financed over 60 months with 15,000 down in a deposit, you would be paying $1,022 per month. Like other people said, this number will vary wildly depending on what you put down/trade and your APR.

Leasing is also an option and will help your payment... paying over MSRP kind of kills leasing, but the Challengers have been getting good residuals from what I hear. Assume, say, 55-60% at 36 months with a money factor that is basically like charge for leasing you the car... think of it almost like an APR / 2400. Something like .00211, for example. You want this to be as low as possible. However with a lease, you give the vehicle back after it is over, and thus build no equity whatsoever.

Credit can be tough. Being in my mid 20's, its been pretty hard because I have only been actively building credit for 4 years or so, but I am meticulous about payments and keep my revolving debt low, so my credit is very good. If you want to raise your credit score, feel free to ask questions and maybe I can help. There are little tips and tricks, and you can always call any company that puts negative things on your credit report and try to negotiate them off.

They will also be looking at your income to debt from a W2 or similar item.. paystub... ect. So that will come into play regarding financing.
