So I was out tonight enjoying this awesome 60 degree December weather in Ohio and the craziest thing happened. When I got on the freeway started shifting through the gears pretty hard anf by the time I got to third my radio switched stations thought I was going crazy. When i got off the freeway and got back on it did the same thing. Then the phone setting came on and it was trying to dial my phone. I don't know where to begin with this, maybe computer issues.

Could this maybe something as simple as accidentally hitting the call & station buttons on the steering wheel while shifting paddles? I say this in a genuine way, not being a smart Alec.

The next thing to watch out for is going back and forth from auto to paddles and forgetting your in manual and then redlining it! Be there and done that.

I've had very similar issues with my radio but not my phone. If you do a little searching around
on some of the HK radio issues related threads you may find some helpful information. Also,
there were some weird issues with my (+) upshift paddle. Sometimes the car would down shift
when I used the upshift paddle. At first I thought that it was my fault but then after it happened
a few times and I started to play with it I knew that it wasn't my fault.

As for the radio, my number three preset would just change for no apparent reason and did it
quite often. Once I was listening to the radio while I was waxing the car and it happened a few
times back and fourth while no one was even in the car so that too is an issue that wasn't my
fault. But Dodge has been nice enough to replace the entire car due to motor issues so I'm not
going to have to worry about it any more. At least not with that particular car any way.

I'd take the car to the dealer if it were mine. Electronic issues can cause safety issues as well
as reliability issues. Plus, as I've read on this site several times.....that's what the warranty is
    for.;)

    Best of luck to you.

It's definitely not the paddle shifters because I have a stick shift one hand was on top of the steering wheel the other with shifting so my hands were nowhere near the buttons sounds electrical was just wondering if anybody else was dealing with something like this definitely felt like the twilight zone was listening to a song on a country station by the time I was out of 3rd I was listening to an R&B stationo_O

I've had mine change radio stations on two occasions. Funny part is that the station it changed to was not programmed into the radio. When I tried to determine what station was on the radio switched to the previous station. Definitely an issue in the steering wheel.

JT's shaker....you may be onto something there. It could be in the steering wheel. My preset on
XM was for station 34 which is programed but every time the station changed it changed to
station 35 which, like in your case, is not programed at all on any preset.
