Inquiring minds want to know. I would love to run 9's but without NOS, METH or E85.

You can't.Lol.No matter what,at the boost level's needed to make the power, you will need something(Octane) added.I believe Linda was running C16 tune?(not positive)with something like 18lbs of boost.Top Cat can verify;)

I don't think it's a big secret. I'm pretty sure they've listed their setup in a couple threads. If no one else has posted, I'll search around for it when I get home tonight.

    bottom ATI pulley
    top Metco 2.75 pulley
    HHP tune
    Al drive shaft
    3.09 rear gears
Cat delete because we use race gas at the track, but they can be put back on if needed
    stock air box
    stock hellcat exhaust
    18 rear wheels and MT 305 45 18 R's for racing

That's very useful!! Thanks for the post TC.

Does that combination of parts work ok with pump gas? I see that you use race gas at the track I'm looking for
the most "safe and reliable" power possible for a street car on pump gas.

E85 isn't a bad thing... Only the politics behind it....

I considered E85 for a Porsche project last year but once I started trying to find it, it became very obvious that I would have to drive almost 100 miles from my home to get it. I live in the fourth or fifth largest city in my state but
no dice on the E85. I don't think it's a bad thing, I just think that it's hard to find in some parts of the country.

BULL, you're correct about the politics behind it

    That's right! Thank you!
I was testing lots of part changes and tunes from Josh, many times twice a week. :)
My progression to the 9's was slowly but surely. I didn't want to loose the Daily Driving Factor.
The R+D along the way gave Josh and AJ Hemituner a lot of information on what was happening with my Hell Cat. Which enabled the tuning for allowing my car to run 9's.
My Husband Top Cat's Challenger was going at a fast pace and pushed the limit's. This also allowed knowledge to be gained, but he has NOS.
The Challenger seems to be faster at the 1/4 mile, maybe that will eventually change.
We have seen just in the stock times I think the Challenger got a 10.6 where my Charger was 10.8.
I know there are different new times now. I'm just giving an example.

    Linda:)

Linda do you think the same times can be achieved with the 20's in the rears with say Nitto555Rs or do you think it would only hook best on a 18 with the MT's? I plan to follow this recipe to get to the 9's this summer, but I am kind of stuck on the whole wheel/tire combo. Again amazing results!! :)

    Here is what I think
My husband had 3 different kinds of tires on my HC.
My Nittos just needed to have a good smoking hot burn out. Which is really cool ;)
But for 9's The MT Street R's 305x40x18's on 18 weld wheels
If there is a tire you like. I'll bet a combination can be figured out for what you have.
HHP or another performance shop with their knowledge should help you get what you want.

Dodge built these Hell cats waaaaayyyy different than SRT8's

A few years ago in the wee hours of the night there was a small group of us chatting with the SRT group.
They were shocked to hear about some of the mods and how fast of ETs from the LX platform who race in the Modern Street Hemi Shootout series Hemirace.com.
These are modded cars and Jeeps to go fast.

" We gave them Hell" and they came back and gave us the Hell Cat"

You have to know Dodge built a race car to be enhanced by a parts and tuning.
A performance shop like HHP with the knowledge of our Mighty Mopars, would be excellent for parts purchase, Installs and Tuning. ( HCforum= Discounts)

    Linda:)
