Most of the forums I'm on are a you get crowd. Going to bed around midnight, waking up around noon.

With an older group of members in this forum, or at the least, more mature, how does your schedule normally work?

I'm in the oilfield. Normally I'm in bed around 10-11, and wake up anywhere from 3am for early jobs, or 7:00am for a shop day.

Seems to me that successful people, in general, go to bed somewhat early, and wake up very early. Usually 4-5am.
At 34yrs old, I am not the 4-5am guy. But, last week, from Sunday to Thursday I got 10hrs sleep total.

I am up at 4:45 am and in the office by 6:00 am working 10 hour days, 5 days a week.

I am 49 years old and a Draftsman for a Steel Building company.

I have been doing this for 17 years.

Actually, my first 5-8 years I was averaging 60+ hour weeks.

I work nights as a nurse so bedtime is...right now. :) With that being said my circadian rhythm is all jacked up because I do work nights. My transition days are rough.

Go to bed around 9:45pm every night during the week. Stay up very late (that's 11pm meaning late to me on weekends).

During the weekdays, back/forth to bathroom, toss and turn it seems all night (stress). Wake up at 6:30am. At work by 7:15ish (great commute is a huge plus). 47 years young..... Only 18 years to go to retirement:)

Being retired, I get when I feel like it.

For the 41 years I worked (week days), I was usually up at 6:00am to get to work by 7:30am. Now... 6:00am... are you kidding me??!! I need my 9 hours of beauty sleep.

I'm not sure what beauty sleep is, but most people who say they need it, really need a lot more of it. Lol jk

Man y'all are early birds. If I had my choice, (no kids) I'd be up around 9am or later. Even noon, but, I would stay up later, maybe 3-4am. That's what I used to do when I was younger. Start washing/detailing around 7pm, stage some races on some old roads, cruise around town, hit up a few burger joints, and the drive ins, like sonic, loiter in a few parking lots, cruise some more, then head home. Maybe when I'm older I can act younger. Lol

Mon-Fri I am up before 5am and off to the gym before getting to the office around 8am.

Sat-Sun depends but I would say between 9-10am.

In bed by 10:00 listen to talk radio an hour, Then the wife and I fight with our kids to put their phones away for another 1/2 hour then fall asleep, start choking because of sleep apnea and then toss and turn until 4:30, fall sound asleep for a 1/2 hr and wake up at 5am, then do it all over again the next night! My wife and I work like dogs at our own business 12 to 14 hrs a day and that's why I can buy a new Hellcat and pay cash! We all seem like hard working Americans on the forum. We are a dying breed...
