    Hi everyone!

So I have the opportunity to buy an A8 SRT 392. It has the technology package, red seat belts and summer tires as the extras. The asking price is 49k. I have confirmed that 49k is the actual asking price (outside tax, licensing fees) so there shouldn't be a bait and switch going on (if there was I would walk). This is obviously way below MSRP for what is included so it makes me suspicious if there is either something wrong or if the price could go down even lower.

My question for you all, as you probably would know better than I do, should I seek a better price if that is what they have listed? It's the best deal I've found within 200 miles of me for the car I want, but the other side of me thinks if they are offering it for 49k, what are they really willing to take?

    What do you think?

    Look at a couple things.
    Color
    Options
    Location
    Price
If it all fits pull the trigger and buy it.

Is it a '16? Thats a deal if it is. Better deals to be had on non Hellcats models for sure. I wouldnt bother wasting more of ur summer trying to save a couple hundred more bucks. Buy it and enjoy it! Also, I'm pretty sure they dropped the 8 in the name on the 15+'s.

Always offer less and walk away if they dont come down. If you dont hear from them in a couple days they have it priced as low as they will go which is unusual for a dealer...what is MSRP?

Yes it is a '16, brand new less than 10 miles on it.

This is what I'm thinking, if they already have it at 49k, wonder if they will negotiate at all or if that is what it is. Time to find out! MSRP with included options was about 53,500 (base+A8+technology package+summer tires+red seat belts)

If MSRP is $53,500 they are selling at about invoice minus hold back...good deal but they may need to move some cars..end of the month is about here and if they are needing to move some cars to meet their monthly factory quota they stand to loose thousands of $$$ in incentives....I would offer $45K..they can't kill you because it is against the law..;)

Prob not going to need a carfax on a new car. Its new. Kind of defeats the purpose.
If people only really understood how those work. They are are marginal at best even on used cars. Extremely inconsistent and at the mercy of every mechanic and insurance company in the country. They love to advertise it as a crystal ball into the past but in reality its anything but.

End of month means must move some cars out. They have to sell an SRT to get another one to sell next month

High 40's say $47-48k should buy the car-they just added additional V8 cash and need to hit an overall number including a couple of SRT's for a big bonus from FCA. Pretty much what Silver Bullet said...by the way that money plus $10k or so will buy a 2015 used manual hellcat with miles now!

I gave $59k Private Party Sale... for a 5k mile M6 two months ago.

There was a similar deal available next state over as well. They are starting to show up.

I got around three and a half percent off MSRP on an SRT 392 Charger not too long ago, fwiw. No options on it for them to regain some of the discount, so there wasn't as much room to discount it as when there are options on top of the base price.
