    Lol... Your crank pulley won't spin off, just because you put some groceries in the trunk.

    Mine holds anything and everything. It's a Dodge, and my daily driver, not a Ferrari.

    I keep my car cover in there for when I travel and no covered parking

    That is a great idea. Better than constantly going out and wiping more drips that come out for hours after! Simple, solution, I like.

    I carry 3 bath towels for the same sort of thing. When I wash two cover the engine under the heat extractors. The third is reserved for the trunk lid/bumper after the car has been dried off.
