As a buyer of many performance vehicles over the years, I always look to see what the 0-60 MPH time is and do not pay much attention to 1/4 miles times. I have never taken any of my cars to the dragstrip.

    Am I in the minority?

What do you think is most important for Dodge to want to advertise for the Hellcat?

both count--I have always believed that rolling times from 40-100 would make the most sense..

i look at both.......i enjoy trying to beat my 0-60........its the best legal way to enjoy your car and try to get faster.......rolling times to me mean nothing....you just want to screw the smarter car builders who went with AWD or Vette size wheels.......its not anyone's fault but Dodges that they put 275's on a 707hp car....GM wouldnt do that even on a 505hp Z28.........if Dodge would have put 375's on their HC they'd really have a king to brag about and we'd all have much faster cars

when i see a 392 RT or SXT its a joke how small the tires are....they dont fit the car at all....305's start looking decent......friend has a 392 RT Shaker....245's i believe....its a joke

For every .1 off the 60 will net you .2 in the back half, so the 60 is very important in racing.

pretty sure he meant 0-60 mph.

AFAIC, 0-60 is for street racing and 1/4 mile time is for real racing. ;)

0-60 IMO is the most important in most cases for street drivers. You can have the hottest car but If you cant get it out of the hole and get beat by a Prius across the intersection......... :p
That's the game that drag racers (guys that look at 1/4 mile times) play. Throw as much power at it and try to make the best ET :)

0-60 is very important for1/4 mile times. I think I know what your saying tho I call it goose power. Just driving between 30-40 and just floor it to throw you in your seat.
I have driven different types of 11-13 sec cars. My 91 crx I had doing 13s felt slower on the streets then my 06 charger r/t that only bested 14.2.
Big engines with big trq are better goosers.
