lol........yeh but as it breaks it hops....that makes it hard to feather power around tire spin. Its either smoke m' and slow down, dont go fast or apply pedal and chatter your teeth.

of course all my previous cars were solid axle and pinion angles and spring geometry could fix those.

whats up with this IRS making the tires slap the pavement......crappy mustangs and camaros I drive I can feather the throttle around the tire spin and hook smoothly. This thing.......leaves rippled tire marks or melted smoooooth marks.

I have tried all 4 settings........its ate one rear end already......and my dealer is....( I dunno) duh

Check out website called Hopnot. Mounts the rear end carriage solidly to the bottom of the car. Eliminates almost all of the hop, but you get a little more road feel from the rear of the car. Worked well on my 14 392. Planted the rears solidly. I like the ride of this car in street mode, so I won't be doing the kit on this car.

I agree, with the big wide 315/35's it will hop even with the Razors Edge Trailing arms from Speedlogix if you just hammer it. I have learned to work around it.

Do this, switch to 500 hp and try it. Did it hop? Slow throttle is the key. Hop is the tires grabbing/slipping/grabbing; keep them on a slow slip or ease into it to avoid all slip...should be good to WOT somewhere in 3rd at worst. Also, try to look at the torque gauge front center. You may spot a place on the dial that is your "redline" for hop. ;)

Have you changed your thermostat by any chance? There was a write up which stated this would cause wheel hop due to engine running rich.

Like WT said... get some DR so the tires hook to the pavement and then you won't have this problem... it's all caused by overpowering the tires... which this car easily does.;)

I'm guessing that your old cars had sollid axle/leaf spring combos. They are naturally much less susceptible to wheel hop. They also only had a fraction of the power, too.

Unless WT has installed this kit, he's talking out of his..........well you know. The kit comes with precision machined spacers, (five pounds per) and detailed instructions. Definitely not junk as far as the parts go. I can tell you it worked well on a 392/500 hp car. Planted the tires hard. Will it work on a 700hp car? Call them and ask if they sold a kit to a Hellcat Owner. Talk to the Hellcat Owner if so. As I mentioned above, you will have some more road feel from the rear of the car due to mounting the carriage solidly to the bottom of the car. It's either that, or spend your life on drag radials and hope it don't rain on you. Sounds like the beefier trailing arms may help but don't solve the problem. None of these are the perfect solution.

Now that's the sarcastic bastard we all know and love!!!
The kit worked on the 392 pal. The wheel hop was vastly improved. Parts aren't junk. Did you try to extort them to be a Vendor and they wouldn't play??

I have been around the Challenger platform since 2008.
I have 5 SRT's so I speak from experience on the drag strip.
I watched that crap fail miserably at the drag strip.

Oh OK, I didn't notice the OP's mention that he was a drag racer as well. My mistake.
