...the Challenger or Charger? Personally, doesn't matter to me but history shows a coup will be more collectible. Your thoughts?

Coupes are IT, for collectors. (And for those desiring authentic classic musclecar looks, but I digress!)

I guess I'm the devil's advocate here...only time will tell but the Charger is a car packed with a whole lot of firsts for a sedan. Even though coupes historically have better resale, when in history has there been a sedan like this?* I think any price difference will be negligible. I'm thinking a whole lot of collector age males will find those two extra doors irresistible.

    *European makes excluded.

The challenger is the last of the newly built cars that are designed to look like the 70s cars, I think that in itself will make it more of a collector.. That's just my thought..

    I agree 100%.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Charger, but the Challenger follows the retro look better

If bad things happen then both will be very collectable.

I hope that is not the case, go enjoy your car and don't save it up for somebody else.

I say neither car will be a collectable but IF one is above the other, than maybe the Charger since I think there will be less of them.

There is no such thing as collectability for a vehicle that will be mass produced without a limited run. Buy it, drive it and enjoy it.

I haven't seen a VIN0001 for the Charger Hellcat yet... They are both great cars, but the Challenger will be the iconic muscle car that was rolled out as the fastest muscle car ever, with the most HP ever,...and all subject to who is doing the collecting, but I think the Challenger will be that car.

EVERY time a Charger rolls up behind me, I think it's a Cop car! Maybe I just have a guilty conscience, but I would NEVER want to to that to another driver. Nothing against police, I just don't want to be mistaken for one! Besides, the Challenger Hellcat looks SOOOOOO cool!
