MT is coming out with the S/S version this June in the 275/40/20 size. Right now many members are running the ET Street II's in the 305/35/20. I am curious who will stick with the II's, who will wait for the S/S version or who will try both to see what works.

I am trying to to decide on getting the II's now or waiting for the new S/S version.

I'm thinking the 275 are made for class racing and we'll have to see which pulls a better 60 foot. I know it's a crappy answer but I'm in the same boat or go to 17"

I have delt with Mickey Thompson people for about 20 years, every once in a while when they bring a new tire out sometimes the Date of release get's pushed back. Hope they can stick with the release date.

SS version will be more street friendly than the old ET II. I think both have the R2 compound. SS have better wet traction than ETII. Like was said you won't see them till end of June. If I needed a 305 35 20 I'd buy the current version rather than wait all summer. I have a pair of 305 45 18 ET R on BO suppose to be ready May 1. We'll see?
