I do not work at the Driveshaft shop... I just know that the -D designates the foam from my recent order.

Congratulations on going full 9" conversion...you know we will want pics when done!

Do you have these in stock? I ordered one on 2/19 and was told by the vendor that these drive shafts are bult to order and should ship in 5 to 10 business days. So at almost a month of business days no drive shaft. Im about to cancel and reorder. Hell, they are even on Ebay.

I picked up my vehicle from the dealer today. I purchased an aluminum dampened driveshaft via Beefcake. They were very professional, friendly and kept me in the loop when ever I had a question. My first impressions were that it made just a wee bit more noise than before. But that is as stated before a rear differential problem. Maybe when the Demon comes out their 3.09 diff. will be available to us and will be of a higher quality. There seems to be a more connected feeling when stomping on it. There is not that slight load up as there is with the two piece shaft. I did notice in my trunk that the dealer removed a driveshaft shield. Probably due to clearance issues. I assume that is par for the course. All in all a positive. I will feel much better about going to the track now with one less thing to break.
