A full day detailing my car is therapeutic. Looking forward to when I can do the same with my HC.

I do all of ours. F-350, 71 Barracuda convertible, HellCat Challenger... I'm torn on the XPEL film and CQuartz Finest vs I like to clean and wax the car option.

I did my engine the other day, first time EVER detailing an engine. I live in an apartment so its harder to do a good job on a car without the use of a garden hose/bucket/etc so I let others clean the outside. I WANT to do it myself though so any pointers from you "experts" I'd love to have. I did go and buy some microfiber drying towels and a wash mitt and some other things.

Tammie don't you use a do it yourself car wash bay? Any tips?

I do! She has 8000 miles on her so she doesn't stay clean but she gets the business once a week, and anytime I get off during the week.

Yes, I take my to the car wash with a hand dryer. My HOA does not allow washing your car in the driveway (total b.s. not like I live in a mansion or anything- hence why I enjoy starting my car at 5:00 for early morning workout. LOL) I have a detail kit in my car and bucket. I use my own soft wash mitt and mild soap. I don't use high pressure to rinse the car, worried it might scratch the clear coat. I like the pressure washer because it helps with the wheels, I don't like using harsh chemicals on them so the pressure washer helps clean them. Best part is, I can blow it dry when I am done. Really dry the trunk before you open it because you will inevitably get wet. lol :) fyi...I also have two chamois. One for the car and a separate one for the wheels. :D

Mine gets washed a lot, lol. No automatic washes for my kitty, it's either hand wash or pay to spray. Haven't done a wax job yet because I'm waiting on tsc to do it for me. :D
