So I think I am ready to pull the trigger on just a tune to go with the Bwoody. Who does everyone recommend and what kind of gains can I expect from just a tune and intake? Thanks!

Thanks. Any idea what I can expect to get with a 92 octane tune? And maybe a race fuel tune? Thanks.

will be expensive....gonna have to change out the pcm & get a trinity to tune, I think it's over 1500......will void warranty too.....

Fully aware of the risks with tuning. My modded Magnum was tuned in the first year and so was the Durango. I'm not planning on swapping a pulley so I feel ok about it.

seems like alot of money, & risk unless your gonna go all the way...707+ is enough for me.....never goes to track....but, enjoy..

Not intending to hijack of the OP's topic, but I'm considering having a driveshaft upgrade done for if I ever decide to switch over to DRs or any make of tires "grippier" than the stock P-zero summers, even without getting a tune to push beyond the 707HP.

My chances of hitting the track w/ my Cat are slim too, but I've seen a lot of discussion about this upgrade. Don't know if it voids the warranty though.

Tell him what your goal is and Josh will line you up right. He will also let you know whether whatever you want to do is worth it or not. He won't just sell you something to sell it.

Buck, your the one guy on this forum that should NOT tune his car, you ask the same question every other week and it's obvious you are really not sure, if you can't afford a problem down the road stay stock.........

I just got a tune from Bwoody/ID Motorsports. Loaded right up. Car feels crisp and has great throttle response. The track will tell the tale. Hopefully this Friday. I have a Bwoody intake and 180 Tstat. So I figured just stay Bwoody and got the stage 1 SCT package. I ordered it, received it, had a tune for it within 24 hours. Loaded right up and feels great. I haven't data logged it or anything yet but it feels great. I have done a few 1/4 mile passes before and after the tune and it picked up a solid 3mph in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile from the tune. This is 3 mph from just the tune. I never did a pass with the stock air box, just did some after I put the Bwoody Cai on. I wish I had done a bone stock pass. But I didn't. Hope this helps. I'm in your shoes. I will not change the pulley so the tune, DRs, Cai, and 180TStat will be my only mods. Whatever she runs, she runs.

Does that package you received come with a custom data log tune? Also did you dyno the car?
