Thinking about selling my 2015 #1639. I love this car, however I have always been a old school Mopar guy. I always enjoyed building old muscle cars to make them better, but Dodge got this one right out of the factory. All I can do to this car is wash and wax. I have had it a year and a half, put 6000 miles on it and I think I'm done.

Something to be said about building your own dream car. I guess that may be why I cant part with my 2013 Challenger. Not old school but I put a lot of time and effort into making it perform and look the way I wanted....426 Stroker, shaker hood scoop and much more.....like you said the HC is fairly well finished from the factory.........but I bet you miss it once it's gone...;)

Ya know you can do both... I have a 69 Superbee I'm restoring to fill the mods needs... but the HC is just a sweet ride that is read to go with the push of a button... Like they used to say back in the day... it's VOODOO BABY!

I get it why your thinking abt it. But there isn't anything out there besides a build tuts tiu speak of that can anywhere close to our cars. It may be debatable by some but never by me

    I have a 2015 Torred 6 speed with 3,000 miles. I have been thinking about getting a A8 Torred.

    The A8 is awesome .
Paddle shift it if you want.

Put it in sport tranny mode and it locks the top 8th gear out.

Click on street (default ) and it does its thing.

Zero complaints with my auto. (We'll maybe one: the auto stick direction is weird to me but I never use it, only the paddles which are the best)

I use the auto shift a lot actually. Specifically if i want to pass someone but not act like a douche and have the car downshift and get all loud and aggressive. Like if i just want to get by an elderly person but not freak em out lol. Flip it into M and just accelerate smoothly without all the drama, nice and easy. Then back to D.

I chose to go in the other direction. Always had Old cars and decided they were just too much work. Getting passed on the highway by Preisus or whatever they are going 80 while I was at 70 with engine reving 3000 RPM was just getting tired. I have friends with old cars. I can drive them anytime and remind myself why I bought the challenger hellcat. Find a project to work on and keep the Cat if you have the old car Jones.

So true! Loved my classic '68 Vette, but grew tired of the fiddle factor of something always needing to be worked on.

I hear you. Rattles and squeaks you can never find are other reasons .
In my case things like arthritis and tendinitis in the hands contributes to this decision. I can still do everything at 57 years old it just hurts more and no amount of working out can reverse the wear and tear on the body. With the Hellcat it will be oil changes and tire rotation. Not much else to do.
