Why LS swapped motors are so good?

    Very informative and interesting. When the guy started comparing iron and aluminum it made me think of our hellcats

    Yah, a T67. Alternator has to be relocated, a kinda custom belt setup with tensioner... plug wire protection was an issue... had to keep track of the methanol in the tank... I'd never do it again.

    But once it was dialed in... there's nothing quite like it. Really raw. Ran it on DRs all the time just to keep a bit of traction. And the sound was awesome: loud LS with a cam and that excellent BOV pfffssshhh on gear changes.

    Im very familiar with that setup!! Thats badass im just heads cam intake and alot of nitrous....built trans with a big stall and rear gear of cours some drs all the time aswell my car has been low 11s on motor in the quater as it sits...I like it because I kept it stock appearing if I close my exhaust cutout alot of people wouldnt think twice about the car

    LS series will be remembered and used for many many years. Solid claim as one of the best engines in history. Love 'em, can't wait to swap my '57 BelAir.
