My HC is just sitting there on a railcar in its final destination. It's been there for 3 or 4 days now and still not unloaded. It's in nj and I'm ny. Why the hell does it take so long to unload. I wish I could drive there and get it myself. My dealer said he would call the yard today. I want to be at the dealer when it arrives, it's going to be hard to predict when.

I think DrBuick would disagree with that.

If it's a large railyard then there are probably several trains in front of it unloading....I found that out when my car was 4 miles away from the railyard it was going to unload because it took several days to get through that other railyard. All that stuff you see in stores has to get here from somewhere

Because the railcars guys jacked it up and are running it in reverse to try and take all the joy ride mileage back off, and they can't figure out why that's not working. :D

I am guessing because they are waiting to fill up a car hauler.

Mine sat at the plant for 3 weeks after it was built waiting for a ride to the dealership and it's only a 25 mile trip.

    Drove me nuts.

Destination charge of $1,695 and they couldn't get it 25 miles from the plant to the dealer. SMH.

Who knows how much longer it would have sat, but I made a phone call..... ;-)
