On pavement that is 15 degrees and dry the OEM Pirellis are useless.

Traction on a summer tire tens to fall off after about 40 f. Up here in Quebec we by law have to run winter tires from Dec. to March. As they have discovered even all season tires are insufficient in our ungodly winters.

Hope you weren't surprised. Pirelli summer or all-season aren't worth much when it's cold. For my daily driver I went to CONTI DWS-06 and found a much friendlier all-season tire. Works better wet and cold than the OEM.

50 degrees or colder the tires are like slicks.

Just my 2 cents worth but you really shouldn't attempt to drive on the summer Pirelli's in this cold-they can crack and it will be non warranty...
I got a take off set of Nero Zero's just for December to March in the North East...just sayin...
