Vehicle gets in on the 15th or so of April. Tri-coat Pearl, carbon fiber stripes, sepia, brass monkey, sunroof and A8.

As soon as it gets in I will post pics. Totally stoked and can hardly wait.

What do I need to know before it comes in?

First thing: use this Delivery Checklist to go over the car at the dealership - you will be very glad you did. Second thing; follow the break-in procedure, especially because that supercharger belt really needs to be worn in gently, in addition to the usual engine parts. Third thing; enjoy the baddest car on the road.

Tie a five pound weight to front of your right foot and do 30 lifts of your toes, this is to strengthen the muscles to resist standing on the throttle for first 300 mi.

Enjoy your new machine in good health.

    It's a beast!

Keep an eye on the supercharger belt, coolant levels / leaks and check the oil regularly. I'd add a catch can (BT or JLT).

Mine has been awesome in my daily commute....11k miles and no issues. Averaging 17.5+ mpg's.

Congrats and enjoy. (The break in period is over rated)

Double check your air pressure when you take delivery, last Friday (3/25) I picked mine up and the dealer had left the factory high air pressure (51 PSI) in all 4 tires! Not only was the ride excessively harsh but the pressure created a buzzing noise in the dash that went away with normal air pressure. 32 PSI all the way around is the factory recommended pressure.

Also, if you can, keep the yellow guards that come attached to the front splitter (lower front air dam) and remove them yourself, spray them with a matte black paint and reattach. I figured that they must have put them on there because of a vulnerability to scraping or other damage so why not keep them on the car. When they are sprayed matte black they can hardly be seen.

Also, don't worry about turning off the radio, it cannot be done. It can only be muted. I wasted a lot of time looking for the off switch. All I want to hear is the Hemi Symphony #707 in A Major, but that's just me, lol.

Most of all, Congratulations! Enjoy your new beast. Take some time breaking it in (see the owner's manual for the break in procedure) and getting used to the incredible power, especially if you are new to gobs of horsepower. This is a unique and crazy powerful vehicle and needs to be respected at all times. My previous ride was a C6 Z06 Corvette with 490 RWHP and a curb weight of 3150 lbs. It was fast but not as fast as the Hellcat, but it helped prepare me for this experience. I am still in awe of the Hellcat!

    Here's the Tip:

If you are married then throw the red key to wife. Let her enjoy and if she's happy then she would approve goodies later on LOL..

Congratulations on your soon-to-be Hellcat ownership. Great advice already on this thread and it sounds like you've been around the dance floor a couple of times...so follow your gut...WRT your lovely bride, something tells me she's on board so work the "seams" gently...then everybody's happy!

Start exercising your smile muscles, you don't want to cramp up while driving. :)

Get ready for right foot cramps. You will know why after about a week of driving.
