Zaino is one of the best out there...it is also the most work intensive shine...that is why I abandoned it for Adams....but yes, Zaino does make paint look like a mirror...
Great job and your car looks awesome. Bugs and tar just wipe off. That is the BEST application for your car. Smoking car dude
Beautiful. I have used Zaino on all my collector cars for 20 years! I usually do 3 coats,
Is clay bar part of the process?
i use Zaino also...i do all my cars w/ 2-3 coats once a year
i swtiched to liquid glass last year....what a mistake.....it is horrible to get off around the stripes, decals and clear bra...leaves a white line that you almost need a screw driver to carve out
i will be double washing with Dawn this spring and reapplying Zaino again....LG is in the trash
been using Zaino for close to 10 yrs, it ain't cheap, but nothing good is. Not sure i would change to anything else at this point.
Cars, truck, motorcycles, snowmobiles, I have even used it on rifle stocks. Luv the wet look.
Great looking job that does. Can you give more info on what you did to get there?
how did you prep it before it got to where it is?
Tried a few different things on my cars over the years but always seem to go back to Adams.
Use Zaino on the cat; combo of Zaino. Liquid Glass, and Ibiz on the other cars. Ibiz is a great driver / cleaner wax. Liquid Glass creates a lot of polish dust but looks great when you clean everything off. Zaino is a pita but looks KILLER when you get it right.
Why is Zaino so hard to work with? Does it take a lot of elbow grease to buff it off once dried to a haze?
If you can follow directions, there is nothing to it
Zaino does not clean; therefore surface must have all dirt & grit removed, usually involving clay. It also will not work with other waxes or polishes so their removal is a must, prior to clay. Old version of Zaino required application of polish lock on the entire car followed by an application of the actual polish overtop of the unremoved polish lock prep product. The newer version requires mixture of polish lock additive and the actual polish in a separate container which is then applied in a single step with removal after dry. Usually three coats will produce the mirror finish which can be maintained with polish only, if desired. It is also a little fussy in regards to application and polishing cloths. Again, get it right and you have a mirror. Especially impressive on dark colors.
Thanks hellcat buyer....very helpful, buddy!
Anytime. My avatar photo is of Zaino on the car.
I went to their site and it seems they have 200 type of polish. Which ones should I get? I want to try.
