Quick ? I have a charger with 3500 miles and I'm sick of the brake dust. Can I switch out brake pads with this amount of miles ? Will the brakes seat properly

I did mine at 4000 miles, no problems at all, just pop the pins and take the bold out. I did have to wiggle the pads in but a quick tap from a rubber mallet and they went right in. Best part of the whole thing.... No more brake dust after 2 miles of driving :)

they should be fine.. if however you need to press the pistons in in the future, wood working ratchet bar clamps work great to press them back in

I just changed my pads also "Z26" and now I hear and feel a clicking sound in the shifter when applying my foot on the brake while in park. Any thoughts on what this might be from? My buddy is telling me that this clicking in the shifter is a placebo effect and that the sound and feel was probably always there and I'm just feeling and hearing it now since I did this swap. I have to disagree. Let me know what you guys think.
    thanks

I think it's normal I have original brake pads, & I hear & feel a very slight click when I touch the brake in park......I think that's the disengaging mechanism that releases the shifter...
