EDMUNDS U-DRAGS: Ford Mustang Dark Horse vs. Dodge Charger Daytona EV | Handling, Acceleration, More
Who cares. I’ve never driven 500 miles in my life in one sitting. Yes I would still take the Mustang. Now let’s do a 500 mile road trip and see which one is a more pleasant experience.
True but it also makes a lot more power too. They didn't compare the new EV Charger to the 760hp GT500, but I also realize the GT500 is out of production now. I don't think it would have taken but a few bolt-ons for the Darkhorse to win.Ain't NO RWD car ever take a decent AWD on even the best pavement. EV's instant torque at "idle".
Seriously? Thats a shame. Getting out on the open road and eating up the miles can be a lot of fun!Who cares. I’ve never driven 500 miles in my life in one sitting. Yes I would still take the Mustang.
Fueling/recharging aside, the Charger will absolutely be more pleasant in terms of ride quality and room. If we're just talking the recharging/fueling side, the Mustang easily wins...Now let’s do a 500 mile road trip and see which one is a more pleasant experience.
You definitely need to get out more.... I've done plenty of 500+ mile trips in a single day....solo....although it's lot more fun with people in the car...Who cares. I’ve never driven 500 miles in my life in one sitting. Yes I would still take the Mustang.
I did it twice a year with family when I was a kid. Once I started working full time I’m not spending days of my vacation driving. No thanks get me to vacation.Seriously? Thats a shame. Getting out on the open road and eating up the miles can be a lot of fun!

My grandmother, until she passed, was living with my Uncle in Oklahoma... was about 770 mile drive one way... takes me about 10ish hours.... and that's with a 80mph speed limit for about 1/3 of the way.
