amazing launch......doesnt look like there was even a hint of traction loss

and its also amazing to see what a 10.8 car looks like compared to a 13 second car.....wasnt the 1970 426 hemi a mid 13 second car?

sounded like a 1st gear launch too........all the magazines said they needed to launch in 2nd to get good times i thought...

i posted this one on the GT500 forum for the guys who keep saying 10.8 was rigged by Dodge

They love it when i talk about my HC(no they dont)

Those rear tires look several inches shorter than the fronts! I thought that much difference would cause ABS issues, but apparently not, good to know!

FYI, the pundits used second gear on street tires, which is pretty much a necessity.

Also, the right slicks (taller and fatter) would get him probably a little bit better time? IDK.
Those MPH definitely indicate a 740+ FWHP mill though.

Not sure about the 426 Hemi specifically but I know in the early '70s just breaking into the 13s at all meant you were driving a VERY fast car.

You need to do a 2nd gear launch on street tires because traction is such an issue. With drag radials I guess you can use 1st.
