Just seen this today 100k mark up on a SS. They also have a Demon list for 299K. The SS has been on their lot for 2 months and has not sold for sticker price. Why would they think it will sell for double.

Exactly. Some people think that they're the Gold Standard of human behavior and if they can't or won't do something then no one else should, either. More power to any dealer that can get that kind of money and more power to anyone that wants the car enough to pay it.Some Dealership is trying to sell a Demon in FLA for $499K, don't see anything special about it except low millage. If they can find someone willing to pay...
Typically, this is done in a scenario where the owner of the dealer basically doesn't want to lose the car. If some one is dumb enough to pay that much they'll move it, but this is an intentional move because they really don't want the vehicle to sell.Just seen this today 100k mark up on a SS. Agreed I’ve seen this before! It was a plumb crazy purple demon satin package with like 4 mi on it for 200k, pretty much just a Steinway for the showroomTypically, this is done in a scenario where the owner of the dealer basically doesn't want to lose the car. Some dealerships have halo vehicles that they use to attract customers to their dealership also.Typically, this is done in a scenario where the owner of the dealer basically doesn't want to lose the car.
