Hello , so has anybody removed the 12 volt power supply (cig. lighter ) plug in from the center console? I'm ready to take a pry bar and hammer to it,LOL. I have the center console out and I can't crack the code! Thanks.

So I looked at the new parts and it looks like the clear plastic with black ring is one part and green plug with metal is another. I ordered both in case I need to destroy it ! won't do that until I have new parts in hand! Probably back ordered so help is much appreciated!

I’m pretty sure you need a special tool for that:

yup, gonna need that! I'm not even sure how to get that assembly out because there are tabs on that clear piece that hold it in. Thanks! Just watched the video again while not half asleep, I think I got it figured out now!!

It may be easier to remove the entire console as it will come out in a single piece. I removed my 12volt plug and had to destroy the clear plastic. I didn’t plan on reinstalling so no worries for me.

Same here, I did remove the entire console like you did, It's on my work bench but need to get the 12 volt power supply out. With some help here and staring and poking at it I think I have it figured out. I need the tool mentioned above which will release the metal insert than the clear plastic tabs will push in and release it from console..... In theory anyway!! I remember your post on the revelco a while back. Thanks!
