Nice story your build is almost the same as mine but I have track test passes to prove it and mine has only 1700 miles on the car and in flawless condition and I wouldn’t ask that kinda number for it

Not at that price
I get the average person balking at the asking price, but since you've built one similar, you know you couldn't duplicate this build for that money. But money is only part of it. The other part is time. How many months went into this, and your, build. I'd estimate that in the pool of candidates for this car, time is more precious than money.

Quick question how are you quoting 1/4 mile times, trap speeds, 60-130 times if it's never been raced, are they theoretical times 😁
That was my exact first thought as well. The first picture clearly shows the car must be at a test-n-tune or some other drag race event. It has a "19" written on the windshield just like they do at the drag strip.

I think it would be good to say it's been to the track and have a timeslip to prove it's an 8 second car. You'd need pretty sticky tires and good track prep to get that much power to hook up. Then if you do hook up with that much power, you'd hope nothing breaks.

Good build. Won’t get the asking, but it’s ready to race for someone to finish it off. I don’t believe he’s ever had a clean 1/4 pass with it, but it’s got the power and the tuner to be an all day 8 second car.

Hey folks. This takes over a year to build plus the resources. I understand the push back, when it’s yours you can detune it a little and enjoy it.

Agree, I know the road to a reliable 1000 wheel M6 has been a long one so this brings the question why after so much time and money to build it and tune it do you want to part with it already?

If you want a badass Redeye theres no way you can buy that car and build it for less GLWS
Agree here 100%

After adding the ARP 625 head studs, my heart really isn’t in it any more. I built this car to race, now I just keep it in the garage just sitting.

it’s a waste, and after having Z to time to finally tune my Redeye, I feel it’s disrespectful to reach back out saying never mind.

this car is for anyone who just wants the fastest/quickest SRT in their town or state.
I’m not interested in that anymore.

That sounds like my reasoning for selling my Mustang. I wanted a really fast street/strip car but I took it too far into strip territory. It became too much maintenance and wasn't as fun as a more street oriented car. For me, it always seemed like something was breaking, needed maintenance or something was leaking.

Regardless, it sounds like it will be a great car for someone wanting to go fast once in a while. There isn't any mention of it having the required safety equipment for running 8's, or even 9's, at an NHRA or IHRA sanctioned track.

Sorry about my off topic post in your for sale ad. Good luck! :)

Man if it’s even halfway reliable with a “milder street tune” it should be a complete beast and an awesome street rod! I wouldn’t want to build one like this either, but I would love to buy one like this as is. Would $100,000. touch this for you to part with it? And I didn’t notice if you mentioned, but is this pump gas/93 octane capable?

runs on e85. I don’t know about 100k but I understand and I’m willing to negotiate.
