Or do watch it and believe it. Dealers are saying that these allocations are being trickled out in ones and twos and there was a Dodge one sheet that was posted here or on the other site that showed that number. But YT is full of idiots and idiots are correct once in a while.

Im not buying it. Trickled in or not, no way. In 2020 they announced the SS - in May. They still built more than that.
Chip shortage, virus etc, I still dont think that number will be right. Look how many people here alone have orders in.
He doesn’t say 162 total. He says for the first production run until they release the next batch of allocations. I have no idea what the gtotal run would be. If 162 is really true being that is almost February the total would be low. Like 2000 total low……
2000 would not be low. Aside from 2016, yearly Hellcat Challenger and Charger production is very low already in the grand scheme.

That was 162 units for the month of Dec US orders. Come February it’s supposed to open up and the Dodge rep told my dealership there is NO limits on Jailbreak production, it is NOT a numbered car
First batch is said to begin production Feb.8 so we should start seeing them arrive to customers in about a month from now.

Feb 8 is when I was told my RE gets built.
Nothing this guy said was untrue. The JB is not a limited order but the environment may dictate how many and when they get produced.
If you didn’t order in Nov last year you could be in for a long wait.

Maybe they haven’t made an SXT yet this year either.
Too me, it's just semi-manipulative marketing by Dodge. Essentially, it's a Redeye with more options. But, if you try to build a non-Jailbreak Redeye, there are many options that unavailable, so you are forced to buy a Jailbreak. So, it's still just a production Redeye with a special badge. Oh and more money, of course......

Jailbreak wasn’t available to order in Canada until late December. My dealership called me the day it became available in his system Dec.21 and we put my order in same day. Hopefully I will get a ViN as soon as they start building them

Well, regardless how you feel on Dodge's hp ratings, the JB is rated the same as the SS, which puts the JB at the top end of the Hellcat lineup in terms of power, cost, and options availability.
YES! YES! YES! You are 100% correct. They are ‘ratings’ from Dodge. Everything is the same just rated different for an application.
