Best bet is to go to MT website and use their recommended pressure, oh btw did they weigh the 18lbs advertised?

Talked to a friend at MT he recommended 38psi for driving on the street, and can go to 50psi at the track but don't drive around on street at that pressure.

Oh ok saw that 64lb and was holy shit those tires little tires are Heavy, but that's stock wheel and tire, lol.

54.8 lbs of rotating mass off the front equals over 500lbs of static weight, plus you dropped half the rolling resistance off your front tires as well, should be easy 2 tenths pick up, maybe 3.

I really wish they didn't mess with the rotors on the 21+ red-eyes, the lightest option we have comes it at about 43lbs each, would love to throw on those 18s.

Btw, discount tire gave me hell about mounting these. No idea why. I carried them in. Love discount tire, but might have to go elsewhere going forward. Also said wheel balancer wouldn’t recognize them as an actual wheel to balance

I’m about to buy a touch less tire machine, put it in a trailer and do mobile tire mounting. Would probably make a killing

I have swapped wheels back and forth at the track on a few different occasions to see what gain from skinnies. On average taking into account for the best and worst passes of both. The skinnies gain was just under a tenth with the M&H MSS25.
Could I say they gained a tenth or more, sure but at the same time I could say there was no gain. Depending on the runs I choose to compare. 🤷

The weight savings is big, anything can get off the front of the car I’d think would help. Maybe not 2-3 tenths, but isn’t going to hurt a run

They are DOT approved and say 50 right on the sidewall. If it were my car they would be at 50 all the time. Supercharged HEMI is heavy! Also they need to be at 50 to get that load rating, which is likely not quite enough for these cars....Just sayin
