Do you have any other original paperwork from when he bought it? That really halps in documenting these cars.
This is the forum with the experts on various Chevrolet musclecars, including several well known LS6 restoration experts. I post there regularly and have several threads on various GM and Mopar musclecars I have restored overthe past 20 years.

Oh, I believe the actual color name for that orange when it's on a Chevelle is Monoco Orange. Hugger Orange was the Camaro paint color name.

According to this, Hugger Orange was a special order color in 70.

It was a running name change since it was a limited availability/special order color. You can see in 1969 they used both names when it was first introduced. Same color used on the GTO Judge in 1969, too, and they called it Carousel Red.
