Really if I could justify dropping 250k on a car that price point opens a lot of options. To bad none of these will make it to the track, will likely all be garage queens in the hands of elitists (and WT). I miss the days where they said here is the camero line up - if you want you can get all the way up to the 396 4sp options, the cuda 426 hemi options and we will build it for you. And you would see them on the road being driven. Maybe collecting cars was much more under the radar then I don't know.
These limited edition sticker packages and so on are, and I hope forever viewed as a big sh$t stain on Doge's reputation and the car industry as a whole. An 80k scat pack, common. They are so focused on the DC pay to play options for EV I wonder how hard they are even trying on the DC ICE Stage packages anymore. That is their last chance of redemption to the real world customer base that ultimately made the HC platform a success. They are pricing these old tech cars out of the market that made them successful IMO.
Based on these allocation and lottory price schemes, a clean $150k demon seems pretty reasonable, at least to me.
