Taking the DDHC in for it's 1st oil change. Dealer says they only have synthetic. Only have 1500 miles. Is synthetic recommended this early? What is everyone else running?

Synthetic is the ONLY thing recommended, ever.

Did you get an Owner's Manual? Pennzoil SRT Synthetic Ultra 0W-40 is the factory fill.

I use a combo of corn oil, crysco, and wd40. You didn't seriously ask this question now did you Sparky?

Get ready to be disappointed.....Manufacturers (exxon,ect) are experiencing a shortage on the "additives" that go into the base stock (crude oil) for make all of their product lines....Seeing this right now in the industrial sector. If you need oil for the cat you better get it now, it gonna be hard to get. Just like AMMO, Walmart is out!!!!!!!!!
