Hi all,
I am getting ready to service my differential for the 1st time. I think it is standard for these to be magnetic drain pluds from the factory. Is this correct?
I'm going to check my manual for rear end oil weight and amount. I realize that you normally fill until it runs out.

Not magnetic…sorry.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to order 1 up.
I saw the rear end uses 75W85 as listed in my manual. I've become a very satisfied user of Schaeffers oils and plan on using their 75W90. Does anyone know the fill amount off hand? Supreme Gear Lube 75W-90 | Schaeffer Oil
You will need 2 quarts plus a bottle of additive.
