Well - I had my original HellCat on order for 11 weeks and finally it will be delivered next week in Charlotte NC. I became impatient about 4 weeks ago and was lucky to find one on a lot in SC (exactly what I wanted) and I drove it home. I have already put 2500 miles on it, best car I have owned - kudos to Dodge.

So my dilemma is, should I sell my soon to be delivered cat or sit on it in my garage and wait for it to appreciate?

Any recommendations ?

No kidding, remember the shoes you were in and sell it to a fellow member...you'll feel great about it.

Since I am a recreational car enthusiast with no skills in storing a high performance vehicle for long periods of time -I will likely resell it - it's in transit from Buffalo NY. I need some cash for a new set of rear tires on my current Cat.

If anyone is interested let me know... Maybe the good Karma will help prevent speeding tickets.

I think what many people are suggesting is for you to pass the car over to someone here who will buy it from the DEALER, not you. In order to buy it from you, you have to buy it from the dealer, hence it will be a used vehicle on official record when they buy it. Who wants to pay over MSRP on a used car when they can easily do that on a new one now and be first owner? I take it you'll be paying at least MSRP, plus you have to add your tax/title/reg fees that you will want to recoup, plus make your "profit" that you are implying. By then, someone can just go pay a $5-10k ADM.

Exactly...pass on the care, via the dealership, to someone else...nothing says you can't be a "broker" in name sake...the dealer won't care if it's really you or a "friend" that is buying the car.

Hubs you are new to our forums, welcome and I get it. It looks like you're trying to resell something you don't own. I cannot allow that to happen here. As you can see it's starting up a little trouble already. It is practical and more logical for Members to take your VIN and locate your dealership and buy directly from Your dealership since you admit here you basically don't want it anymore. You haven't read the forum rules, I get that too, many sellers hop on here hoping to make a quick few thousand bucks and it's not gonna happen here unfortunately. Removed your email address.

In order for him to sell at MSRP, that means he'd have to be buying the car from the dealer at invoice + taxes to break even. We all know that's not happening. And he has already stated he is looking to make some money on the deal.

Hey I'm shutting this thread down since he does not own the car and is trying to make money by selling his position waiting for it to come in.
